Square Ribbon Vase

Materials and shapes are dramatically contrasted in this popular series of vases designed for MoMA by the American designer. A metal band curved to hold water and support flowers are suspended securely within parallel walls of glass. This sinuous contrast of metal and glass gives resonance to everyday materials and the stunningly simple design equals the beauty of the stems they hold.
